About the Signature Belts

The Signature Collection is Goldfels in its most elevated form: a slim 30 mm belt system made for denim, chinos, and tailoring without owning five separate belts. Each strap is hand-cut and edge-painted by a single maker in our workshop near Venice, using full-grain calf from an LWG Gold-rated German tannery or Italian suede with a buttery nubuck reverse. Solid-brass Signature Buckles are finished with real gold or palladium plating and made for Signature Straps in the same slim 30 mm system. With 13 hidden holes spaced 5 mm apart, all invisible while worn, the belt sits cleaner, adjusts more precisely, and feels considered every day.

Signature is the slimmer 30 mm high-end line and the most elevated expression of a Goldfels belt. Perennio is 35 mm, a little more present and more accessible, while still handmade in Italy with solid-brass buckles, real gold or palladium plating, and the same precise hidden-hole fit logic. The main difference is the upper leather and overall refinement: Signature uses our most elevated leathers, including German full-grain calf and exceptional Italian suede; Perennio uses very good Italian bovine leathers and suede in a slightly more relaxed format.

The strap has 13 holes, 5 mm apart, all completely hidden in every wearing position. You get fine adjustment throughout the day without a visible row of unused holes. Compared with five holes spaced about 25 mm apart, that is roughly 3x the precision for comfort and a cleaner look.

Yes, within the Signature Collection. Every Signature Strap is made for Signature Buckles of matching 30 mm width, so you can change leather, color, buckle shape, or finish in seconds. Perennio uses a wider 35 mm format, so keeping each system within its own collection preserves the intended proportions.

Measure your trouser's waist circumference by threading a tape measure through the belt loops, or measure a belt that already fits from the end of the buckle's pin to the hole you normally use. The listed Signature size corresponds to the centre hole of the 13-hole system; if you are between sizes, choose the larger size. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering.
